When the Moon is in Taurus
The Moon spends about two and a half days in Taurus each month. The mood people tend to notice: slow, sensory, stubborn in a good way. The day rewards comfort and finishing what's already open. Where is the Moon today?
Western Taurus and Vedic Vrishabha
Western astrology measures signs from the seasons (the tropical zodiac); Vedic astrology measures them from the stars (the sidereal zodiac). The two are about 24° apart now, which is why the Sun is in Taurus from 20 Apr – 20 May but in Vrishabha from about 15 May – 14 Jun. Your Moon sign can differ between the two systems for the same reason. Find yours in both.
