When the Moon is in Aquarius
The Moon spends about two and a half days in Aquarius each month. The mood people tend to notice: cool, curious, a little detached. Good for ideas and groups, less good for clinging. Where is the Moon today?
Western Aquarius and Vedic Kumbha
Western astrology measures signs from the seasons (the tropical zodiac); Vedic astrology measures them from the stars (the sidereal zodiac). The two are about 24° apart now, which is why the Sun is in Aquarius from 20 Jan – 18 Feb but in Kumbha from about 13 Feb – 14 Mar. Your Moon sign can differ between the two systems for the same reason. Find yours in both.
